On the morning of July 9^th, a visiting group of faculty and students from the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering led by Prof. Ping Shen from South University of Science and Technology of China, visited Shenzhen Filmbase Technology Co., Ltd for learning and guidance. Ms. Yuli Gu, General Manager of Filmbase, extended a warm welcome to the guests.

During the visit, Ms. Gu elaborated on the development history, corporate culture, domestic and international market situation and the future development prospect of the industry, and showed the visiting group the working principle and application effect of the smart switchable glass and intelligent heat insulation film developed by the Company.

Smart switchable glass was emerged in the United States in the 1980s’, and was known to the domestic public until to the beginning of this century. Filmbase’s switchable glass is highly recognized by the industrial players for its high parallel transmittance, high UV blocking rate, wide angle of view and other superior characteristics, and is widely used in star-rated hotels, high-grade office buildings, hospitals, banks and other places. In addition, Filmbase has recently launched a joint brand of Silent Booth.

At the following exchange session, both sides discussed about organic luminescence, electronic imaging, talent training and other issues.
